Hi,

I'm Luka. I'm a polymath from Serbia, and this is my blog. Here I write about some of my interests (list below). I'm studying applied mathematics, but I'm talking a gap year to explore some other career options (i.e. I'm looking for a work, preferably something to do with engineering, preferably something around back-end, using Golang; you can e-mail me if the company you work for or know of has a position open, thanks!).

Here's a non-exhaustive list of my interests:

  • mathematics

  • computers

    • programming language theory (i.e. language design and implementation), operating systems (9front, e.g.), tiny malleable software (I enjoy writing tailor-made software to tackle my own problems), web apps (it is still so enjoyable to use Golang for making all kinds of random web apps for friends and myself), etc.

  • art

    • literature

      • A few things I've enjoyed recently (non-exhaustive list again):

        • Guy Delisle's graphic novels, like "Burma chronicles (2007)" or "Shenzhen: a travelogue from China (2000)".

        • "Iiiii iii iiii (2007)" by Tao Lin (what a weird, weird little book).

        • "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare.

    • cinematography

      • Some of my favourites (non-exhaustive list again...):

        • "Frances Ha (2012)" by Noah Baumbach.

          • Greta Gerwig is a legend.

        • "Our friend (2019)" by Gabriela Cowperthwaite.

        • "Underground (1995)" by Emir Kusturica.

      • You can see more on my Letterboxd account.

    • music

    • photography

    • you name it...

  • philosophy

  • linguistics

  • etc.

  • Here's my Tangled account (my git forge of choice) where I keep my software projects.

    • This is a WIP™ as I've just recently closed my Github account, and I'm still migrating my projects to Tangled.

  • Here's my email address.
